YATT is a project to replace the current proliferation of trace tools with a single extensible tracing tool. YATT features a new GUI built with WTL, complete with a Hex View mode, and currently ships with 2 Trace providers, one based on WinPCAP and one based on the W2K Raw sockets support. Tunnelling & HTTP Proxy providers will be added in a later build. Take YATT for a test drive to see how useful it can be for you! YATT Cracked Accounts (Yet Another Trace Tool) is a simple but powerful tool for easily viewing and editing traces. The main window can be split into two, one for the trace, and one for the custom macros and source code. Each macro can have it's own hotkey or keystroke, a trace source and also a trace destination. These macros can be saved into the registry and loaded onto future YATT sessions. YATT also features a context sensitive help system, which makes searching and navigating through YATT menus and windows very easy. FEATURES: - Multi-file View mode: Display several traces at once and show them all in the same window, this way you can more easily determine which trace is a problem - Import/Export: YATT will import all the custom macros and source code from the original trace. YATT can save all of it's source code and also export it to a text file for others to view. - Source and Destination Context Sensitive Help System: With a press of a key, context sensitive help is displayed on any submenu or button. This way, you don't have to know the hotkeys to be able to navigate the menus. - Easy to use, simple GUI: The GUI is built with WTL and has a rich feature set. YATT is highly configurable, it allows you to edit, add and remove macros, and the menus are extensible. - Existing & new macros, source code & SQL stored in the database. - Save & Load Custom macros into the registry so that they can be used on another machine. - Any trace can be saved into YATT's trace store for easy transfer between sessions. - Supports multiple hardware & network adapters (WinPCAP, Raw Sockets). - Runs on Windows XP SP2 (32/64) & Windows 7 (32/64). - Currently requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 SP1 or later to build. - Binary MSI installer available for both 32/64 bit versions. - Source code available via SVN for download. - Demo versions of WinPCAP and Raw sockets providers can be found in the main folder, the demo version will be updated when a new release is available. - Comes with the source code, demo versions, support, and all additional required files (VC6, MSYS, Visual Studio 2003 SP1) to build YATT. PLATFORMS: 32bit (x86) 64bit (x64 b78a707d53
YATT is a freeware, open-source, portable, multi-platform (Win32, Win64, Linux, Mac) and cross-platform (Java,.NET) tracing engine, and a complete tracing solution. You can trace anything in your system with YATT, including network protocols, system APIs, graphical APIs, web services, security (packets, files, processes, and threads), and the file system. YATT is easy to use and configure. You can choose which trace sources are collected, and YATT configures itself automatically. You can control how the collected data is visualized in a graphical user interface, filter the data, and export the results to various file formats. The Trace Collector is installed separately, and consists of a W2K Raw sockets provider for reading raw network traffic from Windows 2000 Server, and a WinPcap provider for reading raw network traffic from Windows, Linux, and Mac. YATT provides several tracing techniques including packet filtering, polling, and event-based tracing. The data collected by YATT is stored in the Windows Event Logs, and you can use YATT's File and GUI Debuggers to work with the data collected. YATT can automatically debug connections, sockets, files, threads, and processes. YATT also includes a web-based user interface (GUI) to view the data collected, including a Hex View mode. You can also add custom GUI components such as TreeViews or ListViews to view the data in different ways. You can add custom data filters and export the data to different file formats. YATT features an XML-based and YAML-based configuration format, as well as a text configuration file format. You can use the configuration files to make YATT's settings, trace sources, and viewing modes easily customizable. Version History: v1.2.0.0 - The HTTP Proxy provider was added. v1.1.1.0 - Cleaned up the documentation. v1.1.0.0 - The first release of YATT. Changes from YATT v1.0.1: - The HTTP Proxy provider was added. - The proxy provider is based on port 80. - YATT no longer requires that you install the HTTP Proxy provider and WinPcap provider. - The WinPcap provider now intercepts HTTP traffic, so if you're using a proxy to visit web pages, this change will cause them to not be
